About Happy Soul Revival Inc.
Happy Soul Revival Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between art, wellness, and community care. Born from the vision of artist and educator Myiah Pink, the organization creates spaces where creativity becomes a tool for healing, connection, and cultural celebration.
Our flagship program, the annual Soul Revival Festival & Fundraiser, honors the legacy of St. Petersburg’s historic Deuces corridor while raising awareness and support for sickle cell disease. Each year, we bring together artists, wellness practitioners, and community members for a weekend of performances, workshops, and conversations that uplift both individual and collective well-being.
Through events, partnerships, and outreach, Happy Soul Revival Inc. is committed to promoting mental health, cultural pride, and holistic healing—especially within Black and Brown communities. Our mission is to remind every soul of its reason to smile and to nurture revival through creativity, wellness, and shared purpose.

How It All Started
Happy Soul Revival Inc. was born from both a personal journey and a collective need. Its roots trace back to the life of LaMetra Moody, my beloved aunt, who lived with sickle cell disease. Her resilience and joy, even through pain, inspired me to create spaces where others could experience healing, connection, and hope.
As an artist, I have always turned to creativity as my own form of therapy. During seasons of mental health struggles, art became my bridge—helping me process, release, and rebuild. I discovered firsthand how creativity isn’t just about making something beautiful; it is about restoring the soul.
Happy Soul Revival grows from that belief. What began as a love for painting and wellness expanded into a mission: to bring people together around art, culture, and holistic health. I believe community itself is healing—when we create, learn, and celebrate side by side, we strengthen each other.
Today, through the Soul Revival Festival and year-round programs, we carry LaMetra’s legacy forward by raising awareness for sickle cell, uplifting mental health in Black and Brown communities, and using art as a tool for transformation. This is more than an organization—it’s a movement of creative healing and cultural pride.

Meet Our Founder
Myiah Pink Moody is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and visionary committed to using creativity as a tool for healing, storytelling, and community transformation. As the founder of HappySoul by Pink and the newly established nonprofit Happy Soul Revival Inc., Myiah blends art, faith, and wellness to build spaces that uplift Black and Brown communities—especially those impacted by chronic illness like sickle cell.
Soul Revival was birthed from HappySoul as a way to deepen and expand her mission—taking the healing power of art beyond personal practice and into the community. What began as a clothing brand grew into a three-day art festival and fundraiser, and has since evolved into a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing people together through creativity, wellness, and joy.
Inspired by the legacy of her late aunt LaMetra Moody, who lived with sickle cell disease, Myiah launched the Soul Revival Art Festival & Fundraiser to honor her story and spark collective healing. What began as a personal expression of grief and hope has grown into a celebration rooted in creative resilience, cultural pride, and holistic wellness.
Through her art, workshops, and advocacy, Myiah continues to remind others of their reason to smile—and that revival starts from within.
OUR LOGO
Our logo was designed with deep intention—every shape, line, and color tells part of the story. It’s more than a symbol; it’s a reflection of our mission, our roots, and our vision for healing through art.

The Flower Child: A HappySoul Staple
The Flower Child is a signature symbol woven throughout everything we do at HappySoul. Originally introduced in the HappySoul logo as a smiley face with flower-shaped eyes, she became the heartbeat of the first Soul Revival logo and now lives on in our newest design—fresh, yet familiar.
She represents growth, joy, and healing—a visual reminder of what it looks like to flourish. Her presence reflects our belief that humans are like plants: when we see ourselves that way, it might inspire us to care for ourselves more gently, intentionally, and consistently.
Facial Features & Symbolism
The markings on her face are layered with meaning:
-
Her multiple shades of brown reflect the diverse cultures and identities within our community.
-
Her colorful tribal markings and cowrie shells are a nod to African heritage—a specific celebration of ancestral culture, identity, and power.
-
Cowrie shells symbolize prosperity, aligning with our vision of seeing our community healed, whole, and thriving.
-
Adinkra Symbols: Cultural Wisdom with Purpose
Adinkra symbols from Ghana are incorporated into the design with care. Each one reflects a core value of Soul Revival:
-
Nserewa (prosperity & abundance) – Represents our desire to see our community flourish emotionally, spiritually, and financially.
-
Nkonsonkonson ( unity & human connection) – A reminder that we heal better together.
-
Adwo ( peace & calm) – A reflection of the rest, regulation, and reflection our events are designed to hold space for.
-
Ananse Ntontan ( creativity & wisdom) – Embodies the power of storytelling, expression, and generational knowledge.
-
Sunsum ( spiritual energy) – Represents the soul and the spiritual thread that connects everything we do.
-
Color Meaning
